National Preparatory School Cross-Country Championships 2026

Pupils took part in the National Prep Schools Cross-Country Championships, competing against some of the strongest runners from across the country. All four teams represented the School with determination, team spirit, and impressive performances.
 
 
 
U11 Girls
Our U11 girls finished 22nd out of fifty-two schools, a fantastic achievement in a very competitive field. Individually, Harper C placed 65th, followed by Maisie B in 92nd, Chloe H in 117th, and Lili H in 179th out of more than 200 runners. A great effort from all four girls.
 
U13 Girls
The U13 girls’ team performed brilliantly to finish 12th overall out of twenty-seven teams. Strong individual runs saw Freya S finish 32nd, Ellie B 52nd, Evelyn Q 62nd, and Rose T 69th in a field of 111 runners. A very consistent team display.
 
U11 Boys
Our U11 boys secured an excellent 10th place out of forty-nine schools. Leading the team was Henry B in 27th, with Ted S close behind in 41st. Seb Y finished 83rd, and Toby B 100th out of 204 competitors. A top‑ten finish is a superb result at national level.
 
U13 Boys
The highlight of the day came from our U13 boys who achieved a remarkable 3rd place overall out of thirty-eight schools, earning themselves a place on the podium. Lucas Y led the way with an impressive 11th, followed by Rory T in 15th, Anaadh T 36th, and Monty Y 74th out of 152 runners. A truly outstanding team performance.
